Function with completion handler

Have you ever encountered a problem with your codes where you have a variable inside a function and can’t update a value of the variable inside an asynchronous code block? Well, I have, and the answer to it is a function with completion.

At First I tried defining a variable inside the function as a data source and never got the value I needed. I tried a lot of workarounds like access levels(public and internal).

I was working parse and used

function. This fucntion finds objects asynchronously and calls the given block with results. I needed a value inside this block and since assigning a value inside this clock won’t update the variable and execute and return it.

Code above is a simple solution for accessing a value inside an asynchronous function/method.
